Mike
Mike is an ex competitive cyclist and rower and now enjoys motivating others to find their own competitive spirit in bootcamp classes. His HIT classes offer basic strength moves in an innovative format to push you hard to meet your strength and fitness goals and his HIT & Run take a similar mix but follow a 3.5km running route.
Mike is a designer which makes him a stickler for detail. In his spare time he cycles, swims, snowboards and sails. His passion for pushing boundaries and for striving for excellence and PB’s comes across in his coaching style. His humour and fun spirit will help to pull you through the toughest classes.
Mike also runs our rabble games classes where 2 teams pitch against each other in a series of fun games (think British Bulldog, tag rugby, rounders & prisoner outbreak). His classes will certainly inspire your love of fun fitness.

Natalie
Within our community Natalie is a naturally sociable creature and loves a chat. As a bootcamp instructor she is approachable and empathetic. Whether it’s your first class or 100th class she will support you. Your biggest cheerleader, you can expect to leave your session proud of yourself, physically and mentally. Her energy, community spirit and bubbly personality are guaranteed to brighten your day. So throw away your expectations and self-judgement and you might just surprise yourself; when you do, she will have your back.
Motivated by the outdoors Natalie’s favourite thing in the world is seeing the first blossoms, leaves and daisies in Spring. She also loves live music and dancing.
Natalie works in video games marketing but doesn’t play them because she’d rather be outside or seeing friends and family.
She says she’s terrible at ball sports but loves a game of pool or bowling. She’s also apparently terrible at singing but loves a bit of karaoke. You’ll have to attend our socials to check out if this is true!

Maria
Maria, a technology consultant by trade, spends most days in front of a laptop, which means she very much likes to pursue any ‘movement opportunities’. When she attended her first Blackheath Bootcamp class she instantly felt like it was the right place for her. It played a role in her own weight loss journey and helped her achieve her fitness goals. Now she is excited to help others achieve theirs.
Maria loves that seeing people get strong and fit usually means seeing people get happier too and she loves that positive influence on peoples lives. Offering people the freedom to step out of that ‘pressure to look good’ and focus on the process and fun of movement, then seeing confidence build from there.
She has a life long history with dancing (from hip-hop to Irish country dances to ballet) so prepare to work on your alignment, balance and flexibility. And finally, she firmly believes in a balanced approach to everything, so having fun is just as important as good form :)
When Maria is neither working nor working out, she is probably going out. In addition to the pub it is also possible to spot her among the sopranos of the community choir at Blackheath Halls or in dance studios at Trinity Laban.

She has an infectious approach to working out and we defy you not to be inspired by her own personal approach of a mix of fun and dedication to workouts. Julie is thoughtful, kind and cheerful, she’s a natural motivator you’ll find yourself loving her workouts before you know what happened to you.

Emma
Emma may be small and she may be smiling but she doesn’t play around. Her classes are are packed full of energy, good vibes and the occasional shoulder shimmy. She will encourage you to dig deep and celebrate yourself. Her love of movement translates to a teaching style, which is both innovative and graceful. Be sure to find new ways of moving you never thought were possible.
Emma works as an occupational therapist working with children with disabilities. In her free time (other than bootcamp) she enjoys upcycling furniture, decorating, learning to play the bass guitar, growing her own veg and kitchen disco’s.
When Emma discovered Blackheath Bootcamp a couple of years ago she knew straight away that it was something special, something she wanted to be a part of. Her motto ‘just show up’ has helped her to be consistent enough to get great results for herself and will help you too because fundamentally it gets you to your workout even after a tough days work.
She hopes that when you attend her class, you walk away realising what you’re capable of while experiencing the endorphin high you only get from Bootcamp.
