Why we love Blackheath Bootcamp ..

As someone who has always struggled to commit to regular exercise, I've finally found what works for me and it's Blackheath Bootcamp. A brilliant community of people at all stages of their fitness journeys. The classes are varied and fun, with no judgement or pressure and a team of fantastic instructors. It's great value for money and there are tons of classes throughout the week. Last night was the first night back out on the Heath after lockdown and it was so wonderful to be back out with the tribe. After many Zoom sessions it was great to be out leaping about together in the fresh air.

After Covid & lockdown, I became sluggish, put on weight & hit a bit of a slump. Blackheath Bootcamp was exactly what I needed to kickstart the energy, motivation, positivity & fitness. It’s a great energetic group, professional, considerate, kind & very motivational. Really love working outdoors with instructors whom are very much on the ball to each participant & try to get the best out of you but in a fun & enjoyable way with support & encouragement. I’ve already noticed the difference & I’m only a few weeks in. Great classes, highly recommended.

I have recently signed up to the Blackheath Boot Camp SHRED sessions that Sally runs with her team.. I have found the experience great if not challenging as losing weight and Exercise is hard for most of us.. The main plus points have been:

(1) Sally has provided great communication to the group but also provided personal daily advice on how to achieve my weight loss and fitness goals
(2) The Weight loss and activity tracker shared by the group is fun to use, and helps build great collaboration between your buddies within the team
(3) The What's APP group is also good fun and provides great insight in to how other members of the group are doing
(4) The Fitness classes really test you, but you can go at your own pace if you wish

I joined Blackheath Bootcamp in June last year and it was the best thing that I have ever done with regards to exercise and my fitness, I will never join a regular gym again! Sally and all of The instructors are amazing, very experienced and teach everybody at their own level and pace. Every class is different, so forever challenging your body to do more. I can’t recommend Blackheath bootcamp more! I joined during lockdown last summer and sally really helped me get out of my last summer. The community aspect is amazing and I have never taken part in more inventive and fun classes ever! I can’t wait to attend my first in person bootcamp and to finally meet everyone’s smiling faces! Being a bit of a bloater, over the years I have attended all the bootcamps in the area. I can honestly say this is the best. The classes are well thought out, fun and yield great results. I found the other participants to be friendly with a gradient of different abilities. You really couldn't wish for more positive and helpful instructors than Sally, Mike and the rest of the gang. I joined Blackheath Bootcamp last year, and loved the classes. They were all different and varied, never boring! I found I started seeing an improvement in my fitness after about three weeks, and the community spirit was infectious. Everyone is incredibly friendly, supportive and inspiring. Sally and all the instructors are great, and the classes cater for all levels of fitness. Definitely highly recommend this amazing bootcamp!

I've been attending Blackheath Bootcamp for a couple of weeks and am really enjoying it. The exercises are tough but achievable, and you're always given plenty of options for slightly amending the exercise if you're injured/find it too difficult/don't enjoy bending into that position! I'm already seeing results too - I've lost 1.5kg and I'm already getting close to being able to doing up my belt a notch smaller. Everyone is super friendly and encouraging which makes me always want to go to the next session!

Update: I've just finished the spring Shred programme - in 8 weeks I've lost 11kg, 2.5 inches off my waist, and I feel great 💪🏻. Joining was one of the best decisions I've made. Already signed up to summer Shred!

I love Blackheath bootcamp because workouts are filled with challenging activities which are fun to do! Sally’s workouts are the best I have come across so far. I saw results within the first few weeks of starting and there’s been continual progress throughout! The structure of Sally’s workouts is such that I get what I want from each session, and the ones I struggle with, trust Sally to always have an alternative! Make every second count she says 😊 . joined Blackheath Bootcamp at the beginning of 2020, looking to lose weight thats not just in the gym (which I was a member of and hardly ever went to). I was also looking for a support system that can keep me motivated in the long term as I know Mine doesnt last for long. I gave Blackheath Bootcamp a try and kept coming back. The workouts are varied, striking a balance of cardio, strength and flexibility. You get to work out in the beautiful sunshine, and when it’s raining and muddy, get to feel like some hardcore ninja warrior.

I joined the Shred (weight loss) programme where, on top of the exercise, we learn about our body, diet and lifestyle. I have lost 10 kgs in a year, feeling fitter and happier each time I accomplished a new workout that I thought I couldnt do before.

I have 10 more kg to lose, and i’m sticking to to Blackheath Bootcamp. Highly recommended.

I started attending Sally’s bootcamp in January in a New Years resolution bid to lose some weight and improve my fitness. Having never attended a bootcamp before, I didn’t know what to expect except shouting and pain - thankfully i was wrong! Sally uses a variety of exercises which change week to week to keep your body guessing. She combines strengthening and flexibility drills such as yoga with cardio and weights to provide a brilliant workout that will suit everyone, no matter their goals. I am now able to perform exercises I would never have attempted on my own and already I’ve noticed an improvement in my abilities and fitness. The group set up keeps you motivated, everyone is very friendly and welcoming, and Sally gives one on one help to improve technique, and makes adjustments when required to tailor to individual limitations. I definitely recommend Blackheath Bootcamp and encourage anyone looking for something different to check it out!

I can't say enough about Blackheath Bootcamp. As a guy, I was a bit hesitant at first to go to a "bootcamp" but I can tell you that Boot Camp with Sally is no joke. What I really like about her style is that no workout is ever the same and while she is there to push you, she is not someone who is in your face yelling at you. She accepts all levels of fitness and it shows not only in the results but by how many repeat customers she has. The workouts are long enough to push you but not so hard that you are exhausted throughout the rest of the day which was really important to me. I have developed strength and muscle mass attending over a 3 month period. So if you want to try something out of the ordinary, get a true full body workout, and all the while having a ton of fun with cool people, then Sally's bootcamp is for you.
